We wanted this space to feel simple and personal, like a letter to the people we love. You'll find the details here, along with a few small things that matter to us too.

Our Story

Not the polished version. Just the one we always come back to. A few moments that somehow became everything.

how it started

We went to the same secondary school, but our paths didn't truly cross until 2020 when we started attending the same church. Joshua recognized Morenike from school and made the intentional decision to walk up after service and introduce himself.

when it clicked

Our friendship blossomed through simple, everyday moments — staying after service to chit-chat, and sharing bike and "pep" rides home to our neighborhood. During those talks, we realized how much we had in common, especially the similar patterns of what God was doing in both of our lives.

and here we are

Eventually, God gave Joshua the nudge to ask Morenike out. Now, as he loves to say, he is getting ready to marry "the most beautiful woman in the whole wide world," and we get to celebrate it with the people we love most.

The Day

Here is how the day will unfold. Nothing too formal, just enough so you know where to be and when to grab a glass of wine.

All three events — Church Service, Engagement, and Reception — will take place at the same venue.

The Location

We're celebrating at Peace Event Centre — and the name means everything to us. We pray our home will always be a source of peace, and the centre's calm, welcoming surroundings will give everyone a relaxed and joyful time.

Will all the events be at the same location? +
Yes! The Church Service, Engagement, and Reception will all take place at the same venue in Omole Estate, so you won't need to travel between events.
What are the colors of the day? +
Our colors are Sage Green and Dusty Mauve. We would love for you to incorporate these into your outfits!
Can I bring a plus one? +
While we would love to celebrate with everyone, our venue capacity is limited. We kindly request that only guests specifically named on the invitation attend.
What time should I arrive? +
We recommend arriving about 20 to 30 minutes before the 9:00 AM Church Service starts, just so everyone has time to settle in without rushing.
Is there parking available? +
Yes, there will be free parking available on-site at the venue.
Can we take photos during the ceremony? +
Of course, a few photos are lovely. We just ask everyone to stay present with us and leave plenty of room for the professional photographer to do their thing.
Are children invited? +
We love little ones, really. We would be so happy to have them there with us.
